Condition & logistics
Running vs Not Running
We take motorcycles in any condition. If it's running, great! If not, don't sweat it. Many donors find that their non-running bikes can still help our cause. We'll handle the pickup and logistics.
Title Issues
To donate, make sure your motorcycle title is signed in the back and includes the odometer reading. If you have any questions about title issues, our team is here to assist you through the process!
Storage/Pickup Logistics
Don't worry about storage! We’ll work with you to schedule a convenient pickup in the Dallas area. Our team is experienced in handling all types of motorcycles, whether they need a tow or can be ridden away.
Title transfer & paperwork
When donating your motorcycle in Texas, ensure you have the correct title transfer documents ready. You'll need to sign the title and include the odometer reading. While notarization isn't necessary, you must return the license plates to the DMV. If you’re unsure about the paperwork, we can guide you through the process to ensure everything is in order.
Tax deduction for this donation
Donating your motorcycle can also have financial benefits. Depending on the sale price of your vehicle, you could receive a tax deduction ranging from $500 to $5,000. You'll receive a 1098-C form that outlines the donation details, making it easy to claim on your tax return.
Local context — Dallas
In vibrant neighborhoods like Deep Ellum and along the scenic Katy Trail, Dallas is filled with motorcycle culture. Many donors find themselves downsizing from their personal collections or relocating due to work — life changes that make donating a great option. We also see bikes coming in from those who have tried to restore their rides but faced mechanical challenges. Whatever the reason, your motorcycle can make a difference!
